Developed websites and databases for multiple clients, including a worldwide publishing house, political candidates, an engineering company and a violinmaker .

Technical Services Director 1992 - 1993
  Coordinated a committee to research and clarify the need for an upgraded computer-aided-dispatch system. The committee's work resulted in the decision to issue an RFP and the selection of a vendor to install a $4 million computer-aided dispatch system.

  Supervised a staff of approximately 20 staff, interns and support staff.  Computerized a formerly paper-driven analysis process.

Director of Contract Management 1989 - 1990
 

Supervised a staff of five, coordinated the activities of 50 other staff.  Developed and managed a contract management system servicing over 10,000 contracts totaling $400 million.  Reduced contract processing time from thirteen weeks to three weeks.

  Served as Executive Assistant, School Analyst and Capital Outlay liaison to the Citywide Director of Budget and Program Evaluation.  The omnibus city budget was $1.2 billion during my tenure.

  Served as staff to the Fiscal Affairs and Oversight Committee, comprised of legislative appropriation and tax committee chairs and their staff from around the country.  I also had responsibility for editing the Fiscal Letter and many budget and policy analyses.

c.  Other Professional Experience and Accomplishments

 

Presented to and trained 12 executive management staff of a major utility company in a three day seminar on project management and software applications.  This resulted in excellent participation and the receipt of a $1+ million training contract for IBM/Catapult Corporation.

Developed two databases with 2,000 and 4,000 records for major non profit organization to track volunteer services and employee activity. This increased  management access to information for decision-making purposes.

Developed database with 70,000 records for city council member and mayoral candidate, resulting in the ability to identify likely voters and campaign contributors.

Served on multiple department, college, and university, and external committees.  I have also served on numerous community and nonprofit boards, commissions and panels.
